Perhaps we have become self-righteous about our Christian lives because we look at society around us and see flagrant immorality, pervasive dishonesty, wholesale greed, and increasing violence. We see growing acceptance of abortion as a "right" and homosexuality as an acceptable alternate lifestyle. Because we are not guilty of these more gross forms of sin, we can begin to feel rather good about our Christian lives.

Abortion was seen by her as a way of "improving" the population. She did not intend its widespread use among whites, and is famous for her slogan "More [children] from the fit, and less from the unfit." Who are the unfit? The black poor.

The undiscussed truth is that Planned Parenthood still operates in line with these ideas today. Planned Parenthood clinics—and abortion clinics generally—are frequently located in inner city areas where they can prey on poor minority women, and receive public funds for doing so.

The effect? A remarkably disproportionate number of black babies are aborted. The abortion rate per 1000 women for whites is 18, for blacks 54, and for others 38.46

Society as a whole must defend the conceived child's right to life and the true good of the woman who can never, in any circumstances, find fulfilment in the decision to abort.

We're told about a woman's right to control her own body. But doesn't the unborn child have a higher right, and that is to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?
