Though he knows the name of every star and his kingdom spans galaxies, God delights in being a part of our lives. Do you know why he often doesn't answer prayer right away? Because he wants to talk to us, and sometimes that's the only way to get us to stay and talk to him. His heart is for relationship, for shared adventure to the core.

Second, we chose to believe Christ is already within us, and we remind ourselves of this marvel. The springs of life well up from within.

I realize that many dear followers of Christ have been taught that God only speaks to his sons and daughters through the Bible. The irony of that theology is this: that's not what the Bible teaches! The Scriptures are filled with stories of God speaking to his people—intimately, personally.
