How do we wait? The Bible says very clearly that we are to be still.

When we read of the great Biblical leaders, we see that it was not uncommon for God to ask them to wait, not just a day or two, but for years, until God was ready for them to act.

No matter what we are going through, no matter how long the waiting for answers, of one thing we may be sure. God is faithful. He keeps His promises. What He starts, He finishes, including His perfect work in us.

And life (or God) seems to reply, "Get ready! The other shoe is going to drop. When? I want to surprise you.

Some of the greatest blessings take a long time in coming, as God works out His plans.
