The characteristic of a true sovereign is, to acknowledge that, in the administration of his kingdom, he is a minister of God. He who does not make his reign subservient to the divine glory, acts the part not of a king, but a robber.

It lays down a   clear distinction between spiritual and civil government, in order to   inform us that outward subjection does not prevent us from having   within us a conscience free in the sight of God.

A real king is the one who recognizes that, in governing his kingdom, he is a true minister of God. Conversely whoever does not reign with a view to serving God's glory acts not as a ruler but as a robber.

All my life I've dealt with politicians. I know politicians better than anybody. And honestly, if you can't deal with a politician, there's something wrong with you.

I get audited almost every year.And in a way, I should be complaining. I'm not even complaining. I don't mind it. It's almost become a way of life. I get audited by the IRS. But other people don't.

Without God, there would be no American form of Government, nor an American way of life.

One way to solve the traffic problem is to keep all the cars that are not paid for off the streets.

God reigns, and the Government at Washington still lives!

Politics is the participation of the citizen in his government. The kind of government he has depends entirely on the quality of that participation. Therefore, every single one of us must learn, as early as possible, to understand and accept our duties as a citizen.

The separation of church and state is extremely important to any of us who hold to the original traditions of our nation. To change these traditions by changing our traditional attitude toward public education would be harmful, I think, to our whole attitude of tolerance in the religious area.

Never allow a person to tell you no who doesn't have the power to say yes.

The state comes into existence for the sake of life and continues to exist for the sake of good life.
